President's birthday celebrated with a win
The home team Real Jaén CF hosted Tabarca in their football sanctuary Estadio Municipal. The president of the home team Real Jaén CF was even celebrating his 70th birthday on the day of the match and the home footballers certainly wanted to give him the best present by getting three points. However, Tabarca, led by the Tabarca manager, was against it, and he even sneeringly said in the pre-match press conference that he "wished the President all the best, and as a present he would give him his team's loss on home turf." His charges, however, failed to confirm those words in the match as they were already trailing from the 5 minute when the home team's Jankovic asserted himself. In the 11 minute it was even 2:0 when the ball was delivered between the three sticks by the home Jankovic. The home president even came to the booth during the halftime break to praise his players and promised to invite them to dinner if they could finish the match victorious. The players took his words to heart and didn't let the visitors score throughout the second half. After 90 minutes the scoreboard showed 2:0 in favour of the home team Real Jaén CF and the jubilee celebrant had one more reason to celebrate. >>
